About Business Plus
Business Plus is a self-service corporate travel programme for rewarding businesses when their employees fly with Cathay Pacific for business travel. As the business earns more points, it can be promoted to a higher tier and unlock rewards and tier benefits. The contract period is 12 months starting from registration date and is renewed every 12 months thereafter, at which point, the Business Plus points are reset to zero.
To be eligible for Business Plus, your company must:
- have a valid business registration in the country or region in which your company chooses to register Business Plus
- appoint no more than 3 BSP (under Billing Settlement Plan) travel agents in your local country or region to handle and record the issuance of tickets (if applicable)
- designate an authorised company representative (Travel Manager) to act on behalf of the company in matters related to Business Plus
- not be a Business Travel Contracting (BTC) client, Oneworld Select client or have another Business Plus account with Cathay Pacific
- not be an agency, consolidator or ticket brokerage firm
The authorised representative from your company needs to complete a simple registration form to open a Business Plus account under your company’s name. After opening an account, you can start accruing Business Plus points right away.
There is no fee for joining Business Plus.
A contract period in Business Plus lasts for 12 months from the date of join. During this period, the company earns Business Plus points from travel on Eligible Tickets. The contract will be renewed automatically at the end of the 12 month period.
As you earn more Business Plus points during the contract period, you can reach higher tiering levels. At each new tier, you will unlock more and better rewards.
You can check out the points required for each tier and the corresponding rewards and privileges on the ‘About the programme’ page
You can see your tier and points status after login. When you move up a tier, you will also receive a notification on the portal.
Once you have accumulated enough points during the contract year, your company can move up to a higher tier. When you move up a tier, your company will be able to unlock the rewards and become eligible for benefits offered at that higher tier.
A company can move up from Tier 0 (where it starts each year) to Tier 5, the highest tier. This will allow the company to unlock all available rewards.
Only one account should be created for each registered business entity. We reserve the right to revoke multiple accounts that are created for the same registered business entity.
Double counting of corporate travel spending will not be accepted in the Business Plus programme or any other corporate travel programme of Cathay Pacific.
While there is no restriction on enrolment in different countries, a single account will allow your company to pool all its travel expenditures together and earn rewards faster. However, as there may be local limitations for respective rewards, we recommend that you get a thorough understanding of the programme's terms and conditions along with your expected travel pattern in order to choose an enrolment option that most benefits your company.
As there are stipulations in the terms and conditions of various rewards, in particular rewards that are only applicable to tickets purchased in the country in which your company is enrolled, we recommend that you get a thorough understanding of these terms and conditions along with your expected travel pattern in order to choose a country for enrolment that most benefits your company.
