A contract period in Business Plus programme lasts for 12 months, during which the company's eligible travel is collectively calculated for points accrual to unlock rewards and status privileges. The contract will be renewed automatically.
The tier is defined by the number of Business Plus points your company shall need to earn in order to move up the next tier. Your company can unlock the rewards and status privileges for each tier. You can check out the points required for each tier and the corresponding rewards and privileges on the About the programme page when you have made the first booking.
You can check out the tier and points status after login. When you move up a tier, you will also receive a notification on the portal. Please always read the messages after login.
As points are accumulative during the contract year, it is possible and likely that a company will move up the tiers during a contract year. The company will be able to unlock the rewards and become eligible for status privileges of the higher tier as soon as it has accrued the corresponding points required for that tier.
A company is welcome to move up multiple times within a contract year, up to Tier 5, the highest tier. This will allow the company to unlock all rewards, as well as enjoy status privileges for the remainder of the existing contract year, plus the full term of the subsequent renewed contract year.
Only one account should be created for each registered business entity. We reserve the right to revoke multiple accounts that are created for the same registered business entity.
Double counting of corporate travel spending will not be accepted in Business Plus programme or any other corporate travel programme of Cathay Pacific or Cathay Dragon.
While there is no restriction on enrolment in different countries, a single account will allow your company to pool all its travel expenditures together and earn rewards faster. However, as there may be local limitations for respective rewards, we recommend that you get a thorough understanding of the programme's terms and conditions along with your expected travel pattern in order to choose an enrolment option that most benefits your company.
As there are stipulations in the terms and conditions of various rewards, in particular rewards that are only applicable to tickets purchased in the country in which your company is enrolled, we recommend that you get a thorough understanding of these terms and conditions along with your expected travel pattern in order to choose a country for enrolment that most benefits your company.
